The days on the Flying Ginny were unforgettable! Such a cool catamaran and Elena and her crew make the experience even more sensational... On crossing to Cartagena we spent the first few days around San Blas where we enjoyed the sensational beaches, snorkeling and the time. Honeymoon in paradise
We had the most amazing time aboard Flying Ginny for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. San Blas is unreal, never seen any place like it. The captain, Mika, and chef, Lara, made our experience that much better. She took us to many beautiful islands and we had the freshest meals and cocktails. This is an experience not to be missed
Visiting San Blas is a must at least once in a lifetime, and it must be visited on a boat. Given the presence of over 300 islands and innumerable reefs, we were fortunate to find a boat and crew aboard Flying Ginny that took us from isolated islands to untouched reefs and beaches. The professionalism and friendliness of captain Elena and her crew Mika and Lara were extraordinary. And the food and drinks prepared by Lara match those served in the best restaurants in the world. Sail the San Blas Islands on the Flying Ginny with Captain Elena!!!
The San Blas islands are some of the most beautiful and secluded islands we’ve yet to visit! Captain Elena was absolutely terrific and took us to all the best islands for walking, snorkeling and, my favorite, paddle boarding! The Flying Ginny is well equipped, comfortable and sailing was so much fun. The biggest surprise was the delicious and beautiful food cooked up by chef Leah. I don’t know how she made such delicious food with the limited resources in the islands but she did. The two sweet pups on board were even better swimmers than us! It was just such a special experience. The San Blas islands are kind of a trek from Panama City but the once difficult roads are now newly paved and in great condition. Captain Elena will organize the transportation for you to and from the vessel. There were options to do day trips from the port but in order to fully experience the islands you need to go out further for at least 3 days.
